Welcome Tuesday!

Well it is the end of the long weekend and back to reality!  But I must say the weather was not the nicest out this way for the May long weekend.  Usually it is nice and hot and sunny but every once in a while we get a rainey one and man did it rain yesterday and last night!  It was actually scarey it was raining so heavy last night.
But today sunshine!  I am not sure how long it will last but I will take it!
Yesterday I actually forced myself to start glazing beads, I have been trying to get myself to do this for the past month but as anyone who reads my blog knows I am not a fan of glazing beads.  Over 4hrs straight and only half a kiln load. 
Also before that I have been agonizing over this necklace I have been working on so it is finally finished. ( 2 days later)!

I think the elephant is so cute!
I ended up using an old key from the 1920's as part of the toggle as I broke the original piece but I actually think it worked out okay.

    Very pretty necklace. That elephant is very cute and love the key. The hands display is awesome...what a great prop to photograph.
