I started glazing some beads yesterday and I am going insane as I am not sure if I mentioned this already but glazing beads is my not so favorite thing! But like I also said it is very rewarding when that kiln gets to be cracked open and you see the beauty that you have created.
So I will take some pics today to show you tomorrow how it is going (sneak preview)
The fun thing about seeing them at this stage is they look nothing like the finished product. I mean the glazes aren't even the color of the finished product. This is why I always forget what I did (sometimes that is!)
I am showing you some pics of some small goddess bottles I did the other day on the wheel that will be for necklaces when finished and a bowl just becouse!
Here are 4 babes! |

Wow Ingrid those beads are something else!! I have seen beads in this style in lampwork form without the handle. I am intrigued to see how they will look! To me they say I am Woman and step aside because I am proud of it. Neat!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, God! What a view from your window. Someday I will take a picture of the view I have from my living room window. What a gift to be able to live in such a place. Sure has the middle of Kansas City, MO beat all to pieces. Wow. I had no idea. Wow.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I really hate where I live. Ingrid, are you interested in doing a wife swap? Like on TV, I'll go be your husband's wife and you can come and be my husband's wife....sounds like fun right?
ReplyDeleteOh, even better idea, your husband can come and be my husband's wife and I will come and be your wife.
ReplyDeleteI like the 3rd option the best let's work on that! I am ready for that! Hehe! Who needs a husband anyways!
DeleteA really, really good husband does have some limited utility, but not nearly what they think! And, if they are not a really, really good husband, well you might as well kick them to the curb.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is coming from an attorney! ;)
